The Overseas Educational Group, founded in 1990, and a founding member of the Thai International Education Consultants Association, is eager to cooperate with overseas organizations that are interested in partnerships and exchange programs involving students at different levels of attainment. The Study Abroad Department is responding to the rapidly growing interest in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North America and Asia as study destinations for Thai students. To facilitate the flow of such students to these popular destinations, we have become involved in global institutional linkages and partnerships to provide general and specialized student education counseling as well as to provide a range of services both before and after participants have been accepted for overseas placement. Included in these “advice and service packages” are:

Student support prior to and at the time of departure from Thailand.

• common sense survival tips for living/studying in host countries
• support for applications for all secondary and tertiary levels of overseas education including English back-up or refresher courses
• advice on studying English as a prerequisite for studying formal courses overseas or as stand alone courses
• arrangements for overseas accommodation if requested
• provision of student counseling and placement assistance at all undergraduate and some lower level courses in a variety of disciplines/institutions in various countries
• provision of tailor-made, pre-departure orientations and detailed travel arrangements for departing students
• provision of student travel, accident, and health insurance

Student support on arrival in host educational country

• arrangements for airport pick-ups in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
• in conjunction with the institution hosting a Thai student, Study Abroad Department will track and help that students with local adjustment challenges

Simultaneously, with the above services, we constantly work in cooperation with our counterparts and providers overseas:

• marketing and other types of representation for institutions from various countries associated with Study Abroad Programs and wishing to become visible in Thailand

• referred student interviewing and screening (applicant referred to Study Abroad Department by an overseas institution to which an applicant has applied directly)
• local (in Thailand) support for coordination, logistical and special services
• provision of information regarding investment and collaboration opportunities in Thailand's educational sector

Study Abroad and Overseas Education offers a consultancy service for Thai colleges and universities that are seeking introductions and links to international consortia and are also desirous of establishing collaborative links with British, Australian, New Zealand, United States and other national academic and training institutions. We appreciate queries from all individuals and international education institutions that are interested in exchanges and partnership programs. Apart from the educational consultancy service, we also offer Work and Study Programs which is the program that offers opportunities for students to learn about a new lifestyle and culture through studying and working in Australia, the UK, and Canada. Students learn English in the morning and work in the afternoon or weekends. According to Student Visa regulations, students who participate in the program can work legally in various industries. We have 3 choices of program for students to choose as follows.

• Work and Study in Australia (3 months and up)
• Work and Study in the UK (6 months and up)
• Work and Study in Canada (6 months and up)
